Great Commission Church began in October 2011, founded by Pastors Jamil and Eva Sekyanzi. What started as a small home gathering in Eastham has grown through prayer, faith, and obedience into a vibrant, multi-generational church family.
The Beginning

A New Home
We got a new premise in Dagenham, which was our first own space, beginning a decade of remarkable growth, healing and transformation.
Expansion
Great Commission leased a building in Barking, which is currently the main branch of Great Commission Churches.
New Leadership
Pastor Vicent Nkwanga became the Lead Pastor, continuing the legacy with fresh vision, pastoral depth, and a heart to release people into their God-given calling. Under his leadership, the church continues to flourish and expand its reach
Buying Premises Launched
We started the campaign of purchasing the Greats Center to permanently continue serve and reach-out to people of Barking, London and more world wide.
